Many tourists who have visited the Turkish state at least once dream of staying in this country for several months or years. The legislation of the jurisdiction gives the right not to leave the territory of Turkey to Ukrainian citizens for 90 days ( 90 crossed the borders after 24.02)
Types of residence permit:
1. Short-term residence permit
2. Humanitarian, up to 1 year.

According to Article 20 of the Law on Citizenship, it is possible to obtain Turkish citizenship when buying a home in the amount of $ 400,000 or more.
When buying a home for less than $ 400,000, you can get a residence permit for up to 2 years with the possibility of extension.
A residence permit in Turkey when buying a property obliges you to stay in the country for at least 6 months a year – otherwise it will be canceled. After five years of residence on a residence permit, you can apply for citizenship. A prerequisite will be the successful passing of the exam in the Turkish language.
Requirements for the applicant to obtain a short-term residence permit in Turkey in 2022:
• Age from 18 years.
• Medical insurance has been issued (with the exception of persons over 65 years of age and minors under 18 years of age).
Documents for a residence permit:
1. A rental agreement in Turkey or TAPU (ownership of real estate) signed and sealed by a notary;
2. A document confirming the financial stability of the applicant and his family members;
3. The original and a copy of the passport with a border crossing mark, certified by a notary;
4. 4 photos for each applicant (on a white background in accordance with the established biometric data).
• Also, a foreign national must fill out a resident questionnaire, and in case of applying for a husband/wife and children, have a sworn translation of the birth certificate of a minor child with an Apostille and a marriage certificate. In some cases, an apostille or a seal of the Consulate of Ukraine is required. In the absence of one of the parents, a residence permit and a residence permit for the child will be required, notarized in the father's country and transferred to Turkey.

You can continue a residence permit (tourist) in the Turkish jurisdiction remotely by filling out an application on the official website. It is important not to violate the established validity period of the current icamet and ask for its extension within 60 days before the end.

• Fixed price for the Ikamet card – an administrative fee of about 160 TL in 2022.
• Annual amount of residence permit Turkey is from 1040 liras at the initial filing, but may be increased due to the large influx of immigrants.
• Annual fee for Ikamete from 1000 liras per year, depending on age.
• Notary and translator, as well as an Apostille stamp, which together will be needed for the preparation of documents and their legalization. According to these items of expenditure, the total amount is at least 450 TL (without apostille) and up to 700 TL or more (if the Apostille stamp is added).
